Spinnaker Café is located in Englewood, Florida and specializes in local home cooked made to order dishes. We have been serving Englewood for over 20 years!

We serve breakfast lunch and dinner and offer up daily specials as well as home baked pastry items like muffins, pies, eclairs and more.

 On the access road that runs parallel to McCall Road in Englewood, at the intersection of Spinnaker Road in Lemon Bay Plaza, sits a hidden gem of a restaurant. In fact, unless you’re stopped at the red light you might not see it.

But locals know all about Spinnaker Café, a neighborhood staple for over 25 years. Owner Lisa Domuczicz has been at the helm for nine years, and says it’s the local fishermen, golfers and other year-round residents who keep them busy in the off-season. It’s no wonder the locals have voted Spinnaker Café the best breakfast place and best diner in Englewood in the Charlotte Sun’s readers’ contest.

At Spinnaker Café you’ll find down-home menu favorites like our homemade meatloaf, open-faced turkey sandwiches and liver and onions, complete with soup, a vegetable and dessert of the day, for a special price from 2 p.m. on.

But the café’s menu also includes plenty of special and even unusual items, too. Huevos rancheros, lemon drop and berry pancakes with raspberry butter, and 15 different kinds of eggs Benedict are just a few examples of our breakfast menu’s wide variety.

Lunch and dinner are available from 11 a.m., and we always have plenty of seafood, from clams and mussels marinara to grouper piccata or the fisherman’s platter. We even offer three specials each for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. And often, you can watch your meal being cooked right in front of your eyes.

Bill Eaves has been the cook at Spinnaker Café since Domuczicz took ownership of the restaurant. He enjoys cooking everything, he said, but omelets are probably his favorite.
